Gyeonggi Northern CCI was established in 1974, and is the only comprehensive economic organization in the northern part of Gyeonggi-do, which is devoted to the development of national economy and local community let alone the development of local commerce and industry.

The CCI surveys policy and regulatory issues in business activity and makes suggestions for its improvement to the government.  Other services include consultation meeting to monitor the difficulties of member companies, symposium and forum, education and training, etc.

Gyeonggi Northern CCI is a member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) which has a membership of 150 countries of the world, and provides an active support for international business activities of member companies by spearheading the international economic cooperation and trade promotion on a private level.  Especially, considering the unique situation of northern Gyeonggi province, the Gyeonggi Northern CCI explores ways to make suggestion to the government regarding the vitalization of local economy and development of local community and at the same time focuses on the improvement of business environment. 

Gyeonggi Northern CCI also runs a training facility which offers educational space to SMEs in the jurisdiction, a placement center to help ease the unemployment, and issues various certificates such as certificate of origin (C/O), etc. without charge.

Gyeonggi Northern CCI conducts government-authorized vocational qualification tests in order to promote the vocational skills, and to educate skilled labor force.  We have also set up a Paju branch office to better serve member companies located in Paju area.

Gyeonggi Northern CCI assures its promise to further work for the development of the national economy and local community, and for the protection of members' rights and interests in this era of rapidly changing environment of world economy.
